Which Tier Are You?
In a puzzle, you have different tiers when it comes to assembling and completing the puzzle.
Tier 1: These are your core pieces. Once these pieces are in their place, the entire puzzle is able to be assembled. They are considered to be the most valuable to the puzzle. They are leaders.
Tier 2: These are your second level pieces. Once Tier 1 is in place, these pieces are able to be placed by aligning the visible connections to the pieces around them. Without Tier 1, it is very difficult to place these pieces. These are silent leaders.
Tier 3: These are your third level pieces. Once Tiers 1 and 2 are in place, these pieces are able to be placed as you continue working the puzzle towards completion. Without Tiers 1 and 2, it is near impossible to place these pieces. These are followers.
Tier 4: These are your fourth level and central pieces. Contrary to popular belief, these Tier 4 pieces are actually just as valuable as the pieces that belong to every Tier prior to it. You can place these pieces before any other Tier is placed, but they are assembled the easiest when placed last. These are doing the best they can to simply be present.
