Sunday Morning Guys Class
Our Guys Bible class on Sunday mornings, is using “The Bible Project,” a video resource, to help spark interest in the story of the Bible and encourage the reading of the Scriptures.
Each week, after we watch the videos, we will read Scriptures that tie into the video topics. As this series goes, the reading will grow and there will be more and more opportunity for our young men to practice reading the Word together.
Last week, we watched and discussed “Biblical Narrative: The Gospel & The Parables of Jesus.”
Today, we will be watching and discussing “Biblical Poetry: Poetry, Psalms, & The Prophets.”
Upcoming Events For FYM Guys
On June 21, we will host our next Taco Tuesday at Taco Bell in Shelbyville. We will meet from 12pm-1pm. Come enjoy some good eats and fellowship. Fairlane men, feel free to join us!
On June 24, we will host our first Dude Day at H.V. Griffin Park. Come enjoy some Disc Golf from 9am-11am. Don’t have discs? No worries, we have extras. Fairlane men, feel free to join us!
On July 14, Guydom will be hosted at the Bennett’s house from 5:30pm-7:30pm. Swimming will be available at this event and dinner will be provided.
On July 18-20, we will be hosting Service Week in Shelbyville for our FYM students. If you know of anyone that could use our assistance during that week, contact me so they get added to the list.

From Nothing to Prove here is a list of freedoms that are available to us when we are found in Jesus:
• We are free of worry about this life working out perfectly, because a perfect eternal life is coming.
• We are free of guilt and shame, because we have been completely forgiven.
• We are free of all fear, because who or what on this earth would we fear if God is with us?
• We get to stop being afraid. Fear has no power over people who aren’t afraid of the very worst being thrown at them.
God holds the whole world in His hands, even you and me! Death is already conquered and we have a promise of eternal life. May we live in freedom for what He has done!
MYM Youth Gathering
This is an event in Murfreesboro and the surrounding area for teens. It is every Monday night and it is hosted by areawide Churches. Come enjoy a time of singing, fellowship, games, and of course food! The next MYM is at Smyrna Church of Christ on June 20 from 7pm-9pm. Carpool will leave Fairlane at 6pm. If you plan to meet there, message us for the address.
