Challenge Youth Conference —
CYC is this coming weekend! On February 28-March 1, the Fairlane Youth Ministry will be taking a group of 32 adults and students on the weekend trip to Pigeon Forge. Please begin and continue praying over this weekend for our adults, students, and their families. This event in particular, serves as a highlight for many in our group year in and year out. This year’s theme is “Power” and we pray that God will work through the Scripture chosen for the weekend and the speakers who present the truth from it to us. We also pray that God will move through the times of worship that we experience there to leave us as the worshipper, forever changed for His glory.
There are still a few CYC participants that we haven’t received notarized Medical Release Forms or payments from. If this is you, please check the email account that was submitted with your online registration, as it will contain a reminder from us. Also, please remember that for those traveling to CYC with the group, we will be leaving on Friday the 28th from the Fellowship Hall at as close to 12:00pm (noon) as possible.
Students who are attending this trip, please make sure to give your teachers and/or administrators the dismissal memo from me that was sent to the same email account referenced above. If you did not receive one, please see us in the Office to get one. Also, please talk to each teacher about work that you might miss on Friday due to leaving early.
